A few years ago, Toyota including other car companies were involved in vehicle quality issues wherein owners got into several accidents and claimed lives. This issue was a wake up call for all car companies to make sure that their vehicles are safe before sold to customers.
Mitsubishi announced a recall for the Fuzion which involves the steering column shafts that might fail due to the lack of welding support. There has been no reported accidents because of mechanical failures. If you happen to own a Fuzion, you can check your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to see if your car is affected or not.
